digihub.li invites to the first EDIH Network Call: Over 30 European Digital Innovation Hubs join forces for international cooperation and knowledge transfer

More than 30 European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIHs) accepted digihub.li's invitation to the first EDIH Network Call. This online meeting is to take place every three months in future in order to exchange information between EDIHs on a needs-oriented basis and strengthen international cooperation. digihub.li ensures access to this first-class network for SMEs and the public sector in Liechtenstein. Many EDIHs in other countries are affiliated with universities and research centers. The network thus offers the opportunity to bring top knowledge and the latest findings on very specific areas of digitalization - from artificial intelligence to data security - into the country. Ideas for joint events, such as visits to research facilities of other EDIHs, and practical training for SMEs are in preparation.

Research into joint events

Participants discussed collaboration on joint webinars, delegation trips and other events between EDIHs to showcase innovations from different regions and facilitate matchmaking. Suggestions included identifying common areas of interest, bringing in case studies and speakers, and sharing existing and proven tools.

Make expertise transparent to enable training cooperation

The EDIHs suggested creating a questionnaire to make the expertise available in the network transparent - for example, based on specific topics, use cases, available languages and training personnel as well as materials that have already been prepared. This should make it possible to get in touch with relevant experts in other countries via the respective EDIH in order to join forces for the training courses and events.

Use of tools for better communication

Participants wanted an informal channel for ongoing communication so that EDIH employees can easily share updates on events, find common interests and organize collaborations. digihub.li will open such a group for EDIHs on LinkedIn.

Training offer for SMEs in Liechtenstein in preparation

digihub.li plans to make suitable training offers from other EDIHs available for SMEs and the public sector in Liechtenstein. The offers will be successively added to our website in the coming weeks.
