Successful start: Workshop on "Coworking Space 2.0" arouses great interest

The opening workshop for the "Coworking Space 2.0" project took place in Vaduz on January 18, 2024. Annett Höland and Stephan Gstöhl welcomed over 30 participants from the worlds of business, education and art to shape an innovative vision for a multifunctional coworking offering in Liechtenstein. The overall aim of the project is to combine coworking, coliving, gastronomy, artists' studios, pop-up stores and other elements into a holistic concept.

Vision of a creative and flexible community

Participants in the workshop emphasized the importance of spaces that promote creativity and exchange. One focus was on the flexibility of the concept so that it can grow with the needs of the users.

Synergy potential and interdisciplinary exchange

A central aspect of the project is breaking down traditional industry boundaries. The focus was on creating a platform where start-ups, SMEs, artists and designers can meet and network. These synergies are intended to promote innovative partnerships and natural growth.

Sustainability and shared use of resources

Sustainability played a key role in the discussions. The participants spoke out in favor of sharing and recycling resources in order to ensure cost-efficient and environmentally friendly use of the premises.

Flexibility in the use and design of the space

The need for a flexible and distributed infrastructure was also emphasized. This includes physical aspects such as premises and equipment as well as organizational elements such as flexible working hours and membership models.

Continuation in March

The project "Coworking Space 2.0" has thus got off to a successful start. The next step is a workshop in March 2024, where the operating concept will be fleshed out and the first steps towards implementation will be defined. The committed community in Liechtenstein is showing great interest in the development of such an innovative and multifunctional space.
