Artificial intelligence on the rise: highlights from the Digital Summit 2024

Dalith Steiger, a renowned AI expert and serial founder, guided the audience through the complex world of new technologies and illustrated their potential and limitations using specific examples. She emphasized the far-reaching effects of AI on processes and solutions in companies.

An important aspect of using AI is data storage in the cloud, as emphasized by Christian Keller from AWS. He was convinced of the enormous impact that AI will have on the way we work. According to a recent study by AWS, one in three companies in Switzerland is already using AI applications, and this potential is set to increase significantly in the coming years.

After a refreshment break, the focus turned to Estonia, a model country for digital transformation. Florian Marcus explained the basic principles for a digital society and discussed experiences and examples of successful digitalization projects with representatives from Liechtenstein.

Finally, Akshay Krishnaswamy, Chief Architect at Palantir, explained the importance of data-driven decisions based on AI and emphasized the relevance of approaching the opportunities and challenges of new technologies with an open mind in order not to miss out on the AI revolution.
